Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Walker began his coaching career at Sterling College, where he returned to his alma mater to coach the defensive line. His passion for teaching, evaluating talent, and developing complete football players quickly opened doors at the professional level. At just 28 years old, Walker was hired by legendary NFL Defensive Coordinator Ted Cottrell as the Defensive Line Coach for the New Jersey Generals, becoming one of the youngest position coaches in professional football.

Following Smith’s transition to the Baltimore Ravens as Pass Rush Coach, Walker continued carrying forward the principles of the Chuck Smith coaching tree while building one of the nation’s premier Defensive Line and Pass Rush Development programs in North Atlanta.

Today, Walker leads his nationally recognized Defensive Line and Pass Rush Development program, where NFL players, collegiate athletes, and elite high school prospects train together in a professional environment designed to prepare athletes for success at every level of football.

Walker’s player development system is built around his Vision. Get-Off. Hands. Hips. (VGHH) philosophy a framework that serves as the foundation for every evaluation, development plan, and on-field coaching session. His VGHH system provides athletes with a clear roadmap for development while establishing a consistent standard of excellence from high school to the National Football League.

Recognized for his ability to identify, evaluate, and develop talent, Walker is committed to providing honest evaluations, elite instruction, and individualized player development.
